the best for catasrophic coverage

I lost my previous dog Maggie(half golden retriever and half yellow lab) Oct. 30 of 2010. I was not insured and spent thousands of dollars on her over her lifetime for operations & medications. I am the proud new owner of an f1b labradoodle(Cedar) and, after research, chose PetPlan as my insurance program. I did this by phone and my agent was Suzanne Metzger. She was extremely helpful in guiding me through types of things covered and what my choices are. Be aware that PetPlan does not cover routine office visits for vaccinations and such. It does cover things that go wrong... surgeries, illness, etc. I don't mind the cost of the routine stuff, but the "catastrophic" occurences(& your dog will have some) are expensive. This was the best & correct choice for me and my new pup.
