Max, our 100 pound four year old Alaskan Malamute, was playing hard with his Malamute girlfriend Maya, when they collided, mouth to mouth, injuring one of Max's salivary duct works. A few days later we knew something was wrong as when Max yawned, his tongue would roll out the right side of his mouth and this large hotdog sized tube would emerge. The duct was injured; saliva could not flow from the gland into his mouth. Two attempts to save the duct work failed so surgical removal of the Mandibular Gland was performed successfully. Max was back to normal the next day, much to Maya's delight. The $1600 vet bill was paid in full (less deductible) within two weeks. Thanks PetPlan for GREAT SERVICE.
