The morning after Christmas, my dog Tess was in terrible shape – panting, lethargic, just looked awful. Tess got much worse over following days with high fever and was hospitalized for four days. I had just signed up for Petplan insurance on my dogs and was in the waiting period. Tess was not a clear-cut case, and it had to be determined if her sickness was accidental or an illness. Due to the help and persistence of Petplan staff and particularly Elyse Donnarumma, Petplan is paying the 3K claim for Tess. I cannot say how much it means to me to be working with an insurer that provides great customer service and really ‘listens’ to its customers. Having had this experience, I would never be without health insurance for my dogs, and I can truly say “go Petplan!”
