I have two rescues. Scrappy we adopted in 2013, he was 1 and a half, and Baloo we adopted in 2014 and was between 2-5yrs old.
Scrappy ended up testing heartworm positive in December 2013, despite having a clean bill of health from the rescue and being on heartworm prevention since we adopted him. Baloo is not an extremely sporty dog, but my Scrappy chases him around for 8hrs a day to make sure he gets tons of exercise. We recently noticed him limping, after x-rays and an exam that he needed to be sedated to have done, he was diagnosed with a torn CCL.

Thanks to healthy paws, both my boys were able to receive the treatment they required, including multiple night hospital stays and made a full recovery.

I would never have been able to afford at least $2000 for Scrappy and $4000 for Baloo's medical expenses. I called the company multiple times to make sure they received medical records and ask questions about reimbursement. Every person l spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly. They followed up with my vet and even emailed to see how my boys were feeling.

The reimbursement of 90% is one thing but the personal attention is priceless. It feels like you are dealing with another human being rather than an insurance company that only cares for themselves.

I will never be able to fully express the gratitude I have towards this company for their services.
