I have cancer coverage for my Golden. She had her spleen removed. We did it because there were signs that it would have ruptured. So I was disappointed that we got ahead of what would have been cancer and it seems like they wanted me to wait till my dog had cancer before they would cover this. I thought how lucky we were that we were able to catch this before it killed her. Insurance said oh no you should have waited then we would have covered this. Terrible.

Hi Barbara, our records show you purchased a cancer only policy for Nala. The claim filed was for benign splenic nodules. Because there was no diagnosis of cancer, we cant cover the procedure. Please contact us if you are interested in upgrading your coverage to a policy similar to Ariel's coverage which is more comprehensive and would have covered this situation. We look forward to speaking with you. Have a wonderful day!
