I opted for Figo because of the straightforward coverage, online claims, and customizable plans. I chose a moderate deductible and high (90%) reimbursement rate when I was setting up my plan. My monthly payment is less than my phone bill and has been well worth it.
Since adopting my 4-year-old bulldog/pug mix, Guff, I've unfortunately had to file a few claims with Figo. First, he snorted a foxtail. Most recently, he had some vomiting that required a trip to the ER.
I was most grateful to have Figo, however, when Guff's vet noticed potentially damaged teeth. It turns out the little guy needed six extractions! About a third of the visit wasn't covered because it was considered routine dental care (like cleaning, which I knew is not part of my plan), but I was still reimbursed almost $900 on a $1400+ bill. So I was still very happy to have them!
Filing paperless claims through the Pet Cloud is very easy—my vet emails my invoices straight to my Figo account—and when I have questions, Figo customer service is friendly and responsive. All of my claims have been processed in a very timely fashion.
Having Figo has given me great peace of mind because I don't have to worry about being able to afford getting Guff care when he needs it.
