I have had Petfirst for about eight years now for three cats. I lost the first to cancer a couple years ago, and Petfirst paid for most of his treatment. Now a second has cancer and has already run up more than $3500 in vet bills. Petfirst is coming through again: they aren't hesitating to pay the contracted amount for Buda's treatment and care. The premium is not cheap, but then both my remaining cats are 16 years old. I look at my premium as contribution to a pet savings account, much like having money taken out of my paycheck to pay my taxes when they come due... I have recommended Petfirst to a couple friends, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is thinking about pet insurance.
