Taz and Mia have been insured by PetFirst since we rescued them at about 3 months. Taz has had many issues with the most expensive being a copper toxicity of the liver. Without PetFirst, we might not have been able to keep Taz with us. The entire bill was about $4,700 but PetFirst paid as promised and very quickly.
He has continued to have issues but PetFirst has never declined a covered problem.
Mia has been healthier but even her issues with a broken tooth was taken care of very quickly.
I have told many people about PetFirst. I really tell folks about them when sitting in a vet office and I hear people say they can't afford to help their pet because of cost. Some decline to even get medicines. I know the vet does the best he can, but it costs to operate a clinic and play staff. They can't operate for free.
