Understanding but confused

My initial phone call to Trupanion left me feeling much better in an otherwise very stressful situation; the Customer Care employee I spoke to was very understanding, patient, and helpful while I spoke to her sitting in the exam room of the ER with my puppy. My only complaint is because I had to bring my puppy to the ER less than 12 hours apart and the two visits were processed as separate claims so I am still trying to explain it is the same illness so I do not pay my deductible twice, but I have yet to be successful in that aspect.
