Shouldn't be allowed to sell insurance

Purina sold my policy to 24Petwatch. Claims that Purina processed in 3-4 days now take 3-4 months. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their paper-work is burdensome and their review time is impossibly slow. I would NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or to anyone who loved their pet. Period.

Hi Jim. I'm a former Purina Care policy holder and just wanted to clear something up. The company didn't sell your policy. Purina care went out of business and instead of us searching for new providers who wouldn't cover any of our pets pre-existing conditions, 24PetWatch bought us so they can continue our coverage. Don't get me wrong I agree with you in regards to the high wait and processing times but isn't it worth having your pet covered?

Hi Jim,
a friend of mine used to work for Purina Care(who I had insurance with before the switch to 24PetWatch) and from what I heard, Purina Care had very few policy holders and the few call center reps only took a maximum of 20 calls per day.. probably explains their short wait times, quick turn around, and why they ended up going out of business...
