We were really happy with PurinaCare, and it is absolutely unfortunate that they sold to 24Pet Watch. Terrible Company. We're up a creek now because we'd had PurinaCare for years and paid so much money into our policy. Our dog hurt her shoulder, and this company has given us nothing but the run around. Claims were submitted (a ridiculous process now), at our surgeon's office. We received a letter stating that they wouldn't be able to process the claim without a paid invoice (had been submitted). We re-submitted a paid invoice and then received a letter stating that they couldn't pay the invoice without the claim. Are you kidding me. I spent an hour on the phone with the company, and they told me that they had never received a claim. I tried to reason with them stating that they never would have known to send me letter number 1 asking for a paid invoice had they not received a claim. Have just been to vet to have claim re-submitted. So dishonest. Such a TERRIBLE company. I suppose we will cancel, and now we're left in the dark since our always insured puppy will now have pre-existing conditions with any new insurance company. It's probably best to put your $$ in a savings account should an emergency happen! Disgusting.
