I've had my 2 cats insured with PetPlan for 2 years now, one has had a few small claims, nothing big. They say they don't raise rates due to claims or age of pet, then how do they explain raising EACH of my cat's premiums 25% EVERY YEAR? They did it in 2014 and I just received my 2015 premium and it's up another 25%. So in 2 years each cat's premium has increased by 50%. They can't blame it on vet costs either, I've been going to the same vet for many years and though I do see increases in their costs, it's nowhere near 25% a year. I will be shopping for a new provider or opening a separate savings account rather than give my money to PetPlan.
