I have five pets, four are with another company and one is with VPI. If it was not because she was already diagnosed with a condition that would be considered pre-exisiting with another policy, I would switch. They take an incredibly long time to refund money, which is only done by check which makes for an inconvenient trip to the bank. Their deductible must be met yearly, regardless of how much you have spent on a particular condition. Some of their allowances for certain conditions are too low limiting your refund. Their representatives often don't listen, interrupt, can't answer questions, and don't seem willing to provide service but instead what to do what's convenient for them.
