Coverage versus Premium is getting worst

Out of 10

We are very disappointed in the amoount of coverage versus our annual premium. What we paid for our seven year old Kylee's annual physical and wellness tests, shots etc at our AAHA approved vets...was only one third covered by insurance. With an annual premium of over $1000 and we have had only wellness and physicals. It seems to be getting worst each year.

Hi John,
Thank you for being a loyal customer for over 7 years.

The optional wellness benefits provide partial reimbursements for routine wellness visits, vaccinations, teeth cleaning, spay or neuters and other services. If you use most of what is on the list you can be reimbursed much more than the premium for the coverage. If you’re not going to be using many of the benefits included in the upcoming year, then it might not be in your best interest to renew your policy with the wellness benefits. That’s why you have the option of removing or adding the wellness benefits each time your policy renews.

In addition we have many options we can consider to lower your premium such as a higher deductible or lower reimbursement rate. We’ll be contacting you prior to your next renewal to discuss the different options we have for you and your pets.
