I currently have three pets enrolled in the Banfield Optimum Wellness plans. Two of my pets are senior animals. I am able to pay monthly for services that are provided over the course of the year, which is why the plans are non-transferrable, and EVERY time I have enrolled/re-enrolled my pets, I have been notified that the plans are non-transferrable. That being said, I believe that my pets receive thorough medical screenings and all of their vaccinations at a reasonable monthly price. I pay less that $85.00 per month for two dogs (one with hip dysplasia and one with liver issues) and a cat with gum disease. I pay nothing per visit, unless they require additional medication or additional testing that is not covered in the plan. Additionally, the plan gives you discounts toward any additional services provided outside the plan, and those savings are listed on each bill. These plans also give me access to my pets' medical records at all times.
