I rescued my American Staffie 6 1/2 years ago and decided to research pet insurance, Pet Plan seemed like the very best so I've had it for all these years. A little over a month ago, I noticed a lump on my dog, Max's neck. I took him to the vet who told me that it was probably nothing, and I should watch it, but I had insurance so I insisted that they test it. The test came back positive for Lymphoma. I took him to a pet oncologist, who told me that I caught it early and the lymphoma was just in one lymph node. We wanted to be very aggressive and started Chemo right away. I was scared for Max and I was scared about the cost. I started to e-mail my questions to pet plan when Amy came on the computer and we had a live chat. She answered all my questions and concerns and even asked me for a picture of Max. So far I have paid the Oncologist's office over $3000.00 and pet plan covers 80% of that, I thank my lucky stars every night that I was smart enough to get Pet Plan insurance. Max is in remission already but will need to keep up his treatments to stay in remission and I will keep loving my Pet Plan and Amy! I have recommended this insurance to everyone I know!
