Great Customer Service and Worth It!

I have been using Healthy Paws for a while now. My oldest kitty (3 yr old) has been with them for about 9 months now. I haven't had to use the insurance for him yet. When I got a new kitten in May, I immediately added her to my policy. I'm glad I did. In all her kittenness, she swallowed some thread (who knows where she got it) and had to have emergency surgery. At only 8 weeks old at the time, she was so tiny that it was already a horrible experience. I forked over my money to make sure my little girl didn't leave us too soon.
Then Healthy Paws stepped in and held up their end of the bargain. My vet bill was $1500 for her surgery including the xrays, meds, boarding, etc. Healthy Paws came through and paid $1250 of it (90% minus the $100 deductible). I was elated. It was nice to be able to put that money back into my savings account for another rainy day.

I like the customer service involved with this company. Get well notes and "how are they doing now?" emails that are written by an actual person not just a generic computer generated letter (at least, it doesn't seem that way). A very nice touch in a world where most things are bland and robotic.
