Not tranferrable!

I re-homed my two puppies and have since found out, the plans don't tranfer with them. This is ridiculous! So in other words, I am stuck with paying off the plans for two dogs I no longer own. Not happy! This is not right! The plans should tranfer to the new owner, staying with the pet. I will not ever do business with Banfield again! Besides, you end up paying inflated prices for meds and any extras, of which pretty much everything is extra passed taking your pet thru the doors and speaking with a vet.

You are told when you enroll your pets in this plan that it is non-transferrable. It is not their fault if you did not listen/did not read the terms of the plan.If that is your only problem with the plan, then you should be rating it much higher.

Why would a new owner pay the balance on a policy that doesnt transfer to them??

The contract is very clear. Read it.

That was dumb..you should have asked the new owners to pay you the balance.

The wellness plan is a disgrace. My two dogs died and I still have to keep paying. One dog passed away from heart failure because Banfield Vet refused to look at her saying "they only do preventative medicine" WTF you are a VET!!!
