Horrible pet plan I've ever dealt with

Out of 10

I got my pup pet plan then 2 weeks later had her first visit and it was decided to spay her and have a lump removed that was found. Upon submitting the claim I called a few days later and they said they wouldn't cover because it was pre existing and she hadn't been on the policy for 2 weeks, I am so furious at this point I asked for a full refund and at that point I was informed that because I had cancelled it at 31 days and not 30 I could not get a refund. I have never been so pissed in my life they didn't pay anything out and refused to give me MY money back, I will never refer them to anyone ever and I hope people quit using them

It's made pretty clear that they don't cover preexisting conditions and there is a 14 day waiting period. Too bad this wasn't made clear to you. Sorry you had this experience, but they really are a great company. My experiences were always positive.

I agree with you 100 percent Judy BUT in my opinion they could have been nice and given her money back at 31 days, i mean just one day late, come on!

Petplan has been great for our animals. If you had claimed a car wreck on car insurance before it was all set up you would of have the same results. Pet plan has covered over 10000 in illness for our little Italian greyhound! We often got a reimbursement within a week,

The Pet Plan con men strike again! Sounds exactly like the company I'm dealing with as well, not sure where these 10/10 reviews are coming from. I highly reccomend you go through your credit card company and have them get your money back for you.

There is a 14 day waiting period. This is clearly stated on their website. They were within their right not to cover. You should have read the policy.
