I rescued a Lhasa Apso, Winston, last year and added him to coverage in December of 2013 for $40. per month. I also have a Multipoo, Lily, who has been covered for the last couple of years. In June of 2014 Winston was diagnosed with a Portosystemic Shunt (liver disease). Long story short, Winston racked up a vet bill of over $11,000. in the month of June. Lily broke a tooth and had the pulp exposed. It was a main molar and it couldn't be extracted and she ended up having a "root canal," which cost $2,400. SO between the two of them my husband spent approx. $13,000. in the month of June for both of our dogs. Pet Plan reimbursed us a little over $11,000. by July 1, 2014.
I was flabbergasted! This is our first claim with pet plan, it was so uneventful that I highly recommend then!
