This insurance has changed my puppy's life!

Out of 10

I purchased the gold insurance policy when our pup was 3 months old. I picked Pet Plan because it was top rated and covered genetic conditions. Most other plans don't cover genetic conditions. We have a Dogue de Bordeaux. At 9 months old she was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia. We were devastated. I don't know how I would have paid for the $4,000 surgery without the insurance. I only paid 20% and my $100 deductible. The surgeon suggested fixing the worst hip and seeing how it went for the other. We did a TPO which is much easier than a total replacement. We found out 6 months later that she has knee problems in both back knees. She needed knee cap stabilization surgery in both knees. We had the left knee done first (same side as the hip surgery). That was 3 weeks ago. Pet Plan paid for the surgery, same as before and they will cover her other knee when we decide to have the procedure. They are also paying for the physical therapy she is attending now. At the moment she puts 5% of her weight on the knee. It should be 20%. I know, no matter how much physical therapy she needs, it will be covered. My sweet, sweet little pup has already had 2 surgeries in her 18 months of life. She still needs another. I know that it is all covered. I have great piece of mind knowing I can make the best life possible for her. She is so young, that action needed to be taken so she could live the best life possible and be comfortable. Without Pet Plan, I don't know ho
