I started with PurinaCare, which was wonderful but was purchased by 24 PetWatch. They have terrible customer service- it is almost impossible to get through on the phone, and my supposed call back never happened. With PurinaCare I used to get a check within a week of submitting a claim. With my last claim to 24 PetWatch it took 2 months to get the check. They called my vet's office to check if I paid my bills. Not even the human companies are that insulting. They also try to deny anything they possibly can or limit the amount of coverage. I will definitely purchase vet insurance again the next time I get a new pet, but it will not be 24 PetWatch!

I had a similar experience. I. Purchased Purina One insurance and had wonderful customer service and turnaround time. However once 24hr PetWatch took over the phone wait time is ridiculous! The service stinks! I put in a claim on May 25th and was informed it was still in process on June 9th. I was informed on July 7th that a check was sent. I never received such check and now they are going to send another for an amount of half what I should be owed! I believe this is just one tactic used to avoid paying claims and will be contacting the attorney general.
