My dog died three months before the plan for the year ran out. He had been enrolled in the plan since he was 8 weeks old. My dog never missed an appointment but died when he was 7 despite their "wellness" plan. I still had to pay for wellness plan for the three months after my pet was dead. Then I called into the automated system to make the final payment before it was due, and they charged me twice but refused to take care of the issue stating they had no record of it despite it showing on my credit card statement twice. They were completely incompetent and a scam since I was double charged and didn't even have a pet to receive the services for the first charge. I will NEVER use their plan EVER AGAIN with my next dog. I went back and forth with the bank and banfield trying to resolve an issue for a pet that was dead which only added to the loss of the pet.
