Don't do it

I used to have PurinaCare insurance which was wonderful., but they were bought by 24PetWatch and my experience has been terrible so far. I've been trying to get ahold of them via phone for two days now... the wait time is so long I keep having to hang up because I run out of time (have to get back to work). Right now I have been on hold for 15 minutes and am still 7th in their queue. I don't have time to wait an hour to talk to them, I just have one simple question. We have three pets so I want to maintain insurance, but we are going to look elsewhere. This is so silly.

I too was with Purina Care insurance and was transferred over to 24PetWatch. I have found that 24PetWatch is FANTASTIC!! My 4 pound, 2 year old Yorkie had to have surgery at it was $3,200.00 and they paid every penny without any dispute or subtractions other than my $500.00 deductible and my 20% co-pay. On other visits of $138.00 they paid me $110.00 so I have to rate them high. Sorry you ran into problems but I did not want other folks to think everyone has problems as clearly I would recommend them to anyone. I let both my vet and the animal surgery center know how great they were so they could tell other clients.

24PetWatch didn't take over Purina care just an FYI. They bought the customers so they could continue to cover any ongoing conditions rather than Purina care shutting down and leaving you all to fend for yourselves and suffer no coverage as companies don't cover anything pre-existing. Shame on them for helping you I guess.
