Pet Assure has been working with veterinarians for 18 years and is proud that over 4,800 vets in the USA honor the Pet Assure card. If a veterinary practice is listed on our site as participating, it means they have signed a contract with us. However, sometimes a signed practice may tell a caller that they are not part of our network. Usually this happens when a practice is under new ownership or there is new front-office staff that is not familiar with Pet Assure. Since you have to pay the bill and submit for reimbursement, why would there be a different scale for a pet who is insured over one who is not? When you tell them you have a pet assure card, they will give you a discount, but from a higher price range for the same procedure, which at the end equals the same price as if you did not have anything at all.
