I have two young dogs insured with PetFirst for over one year. I have never filed a claim on either dog as they are both healthy with no issues. I received an email today that my rate for my 2 year old Sheltie was increasing from 32.26/month to 118.24/month. In another email on the same day my other dog, a two year old Border Collie mix, rate was increased from 33./month to 82.12/month. Why? I have no clue whatsoever!! Needless to say I am canceling the insurance I have never used and wasted my money on. On my Sheltie, that is a rate increase of almost 400%. With no claim being filed ever. BEWARE!!!!

Also beware that if your dog has vomiting and diarrhea , and if your vet writes in his or her notes that they discussed the possibility of inflammatory bowel disease , and your dog has vomiting and diarrhea again a year later , that this is considered a " pre existing condition"And YOU WILL NOT be reimbursed for the 500 or 600$ bill, no matter how long you've had the insurance, HEY vomiting and diarrhea can come drone any source , just because it was DISCUSSED as a possibility doesn't mean it is so , this gets 0/10
