Now a fan

Out of 10

While I was quite disappointed at first with PetPlan's impersonal form letters, seemingly asking me for items I'd already submitted and turning down claims with no detailed explanation, I am now a fan. Brittany, in customer service, became my point person and streamlined the process considerably. I really felt she was an advocate for us. She also pointed out that if I went on the website, I could see a more detailed explanation for the claim results. In the end, I was completely satisfied that I received my just due under the plan. Only because of my initial frustration and the amount of time I poured into the claim, I can't give this first experience a stellar rating.

Andrea, I am having the same issues. I have two 8 month old puppies that I have had since they were 10 weeks old. I've sent in all required medical history but seems like they still need more. One puppy needed hernia surgery and teeth removed. Claim was submitted over 1 month ago. First it was they needed updated medical history, which my vet had faxed to them over 2 weeks ago. Now its my receipt wasn't submitted. That was never discussed with me when I called regarding this claim the first time. Every time I call, I hear something new. Additionally two other claims regarding this surgery were denied stating they were routine. I am appealing those, pre-op appointments are not routine visits!! Although I do have to admit that every time I call I get very helpful reps and are very willing to help out. Once this is resolved I will update my review, however, at this time I am not that happy!

This review sounds like a internet placement ad. So many people are hired to place good reviews to boost up ratings.
