The Banfield vets are hit or miss. When you have a good vet they are wonderful and knowledgeable. I have dealt with multiple locations, in Georgia and Kansas, and they seem to let things fall through the cracks (i.e. who will make the call for the follow up on an ultrasound even after I call to inquire about results). Where they are really bad is in their deceased pet policy. If you use up all your services and it exceeds the amount you pay for the policy then you cannot cancel your policy. If you do, then you will be required to pay the difference. They tried to say that it is a case by case basis so my recommendation if you do get a policy is do not be hopeful and say your cat went missing…. say your cat is dead and MAYBE they will allow you not to pay for your dead animal for the rest of the year.
