Our elder 14+ year old Bearded Collie has ITP. He received prompt, complete emergency care and was stabilized in the first 48 hours and remained hospitalized for 5 more nights. After that, he needed visits to have his blood checked every other week with batteries of other tests to confirm or eliminate other issues or possible causes. The bills were piling up so I looked on the PetPlan website, entered the initial information, and followed the very simple instructions on how to fill in the very limited information, it was plain & simple.
When I sent in the forms, I had few questions and I called. Phone service was prompt, very genuine/caring and helpful. After I filled in the forms and collated the bills, I faxed them in top PetPlan. Shortly after I got email acknowledgement and was told the processing is about 10-15 days. I thought, "ok, i will have some new bills by then", but also hoped they paid something.
When I got the check, I was so happy to tear open the envelope and see the amount of the renumeration. It was what I hoped it would be, when you sign up for something like this over a decade previously.
