Our 10 month old puppy was struck by a vehicle. Overall she sustained minor injuries (pulmonary contusions, a laceration to her skull). She required overnight emergency care to monitor her. All of it was very expensive. We went in with very low expectations and we were satisfied. The problem is, there is a maximum amount they will provide you for various categories of care/treatment. For " blunt force trauma" it maxes out at 480$. We spent over 1500 in that category alone. Read through your paperwork so you can estimate approximately how much you will get back. For us, we were willing to spend whatever amount we needed to in order to provide the best care for our little baby. Any money returned to us was valued, but we certainly didn't expect to be reimbursed for 100% of all claims. Overall this is helpful given the price of emergency services should anything ever happen to your fur babies. I was happy with the customer service support and everything was simple to file and receive feedback on. I can't compare it to any other pet insurance company, but they were very professional and they processed our claim under the 30 day expected period.
