Our dog recently had a complicated, severe traumatic tooth fracture. The tooth had to be extracted by a dental veterinarian specialist and our dog also required post-operative medications and follow up. My husband and I, as well as our 9.5 year old dog, were pretty upset and scared about the whole ordeal.
Healthy Paws helped ease the stress of this injury and surgery with their great customer service and timely turn around process. My husband told me last week that we have a check coming from Healthy Paws and I was astonished that any insurance company would send payment so quickly. I wish our own insurance policies were this efficient! The customer service department is fantastic and we have been very pleased and satisfied with the handling of our claims. There have been no surprises or "read the fine print" hassles from Healthy Paws. The only thing I think that could use some improvement is being able to submit claims electronically rather than on paper but I understand Healthy Paws works with a lot of animal care providers and this may not be possible. That is the only reason I gave the rating of 9 instead of 10 is having to print out the form and bring to the vet (which we usually forget to do, then we have to send later) rather than an electronic process.
Keep up the great service Healthy Paws and I would definitely recommend them!
