Pet Plan is Great - emergency delivery

Out of 10

All was going as planned with Zeena's pregnancy (my 2 & 1/2 year old miniature wire-haired Dachshund). On Sunday, June 30, 2013 at about 5;30 am she went into labor. Unfortunately the first puppy ended up getting stuck in the birth canal and we ended up at an emergency clinic. They were able with meds to safely deliver the puppy. Within a few hours while still at the emergency clinica nd more medication Zenna with only a little help from me delivered her next two puppies. Unfortunately at that point she stopped have contractions and the 4th puppy (very large) had to be delivered by C-section. Zeena and her 4 pups came home with me that evening. The whole ordeal ended up costing $2475.18. I submitted my clain to Petplan and within 2 weeks I had my check for $2275.18. Purchasing Petplan was the best investment I ever made. I have it on my other 3 adult dogs too and whichever puppy I keep will also have it. Anytime I have ever called Petplan the people are pleasant and very helpful; the website is very easy to use, and filing a claim is a piece of cake. Thanks Petplan, Robin Mathews
