They will always deny your claim by playing with some techincal issue. Our latest one involved a wellness visit (typically covered) which was denied coverage since a refill of a prescription was issued during the visit. This makes it a medical visit not a wellness visit. They always do this!!!! It will now take me hours of paperwork and months of waiting before they will finally pay up. This is their standard MO!!! The worst. FYI, I have had this insurance for over 7 years. It's too late to switch since my dog is too old for any other company to accept. I have done the calculations and its almost too the penny what I have paid and what they have reimbursed. I don't believe this to be a coincidence. I would have done better setting the money aside and making the interest myself.
