Great office, horrible corporate

I enrolled my dog in the wellness plan, which seemed like a great idea at the time, and at the time I could more than afford it. A little over a month into the plan the company I worked for went under and I lost my job, got a new one, but at a huge pay cut. I contacted my vet office and asked them what to do about the plan, and they said not to worry about it, that it would be temporarily suspended. Ive been in contact with the vet about it for a little over a month ago and they have been PHENOMINAL. That office is wonderful, the people that work there are wonderful. I finally got my finances somewhat straightened out and called to pay them last week, and they said I would be fine just waiting till Monday to pay it when I come in for his visit. Well, when I get there it turns out corporate canceled my plan and I had to call them. I understand this is policy, but I was never once told that I had to work with corporate. I thought since I was working with the office and they said not to worry about anthing that I didnt have to worry about anything. I have now spoken with 3 people at corporate, all who have told me that yes, last friday I owed $184, but as of this monday, I owe $577. No one would let me speak, everyone kept talking over me. I asked time and time again to please explain to me what the $577 was for, since if I were to pay the remaining year on the plan it would only be $430 and no one could help.
