PetPlan Came Through

Had heard some general cautionary tales regarding pet insurance going in, but we decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.
Over three years of usage PetPlan always came through when needed, and made the process very easy, especially when contrasted with other forms of insurance claims.

When our beloved 7-year old Golden retriever started vomiting last year, our vet was at a loss to identify the problem, even after three visits and a senior screen.

He then recommended Vetcare Specialists, the highly lauded Internal Medicine specialists in the Southwest. After extensive tests and procedures, we found out our precious boy had lymphoma with a terminal prognosis. At the time he wasn't eating, and had lost about 20 pounds.

They had meds our regular vet was not able to summon, which stopped his vomiting within 24 hours.

We put him on a chemo regimen which brought him back to his old self. Animal chemo is a lot different from the associations we had with human chemo, after losing three family members to cancer over the decades.

The chemo treatments restored his appetite and his spirits. All in all, we only bought ourselves about five extra weeks whereas in a perfect world we were shooting for five months rather than weeks.
