Read the fine print!

Out of 10

If you are considering VPI, read the fine print. They do NOT cover congential conditions, and declined every penny of $17,000 in medical costs I incurred to save my rescue Weimaraner after a congential condition necessitated two operations. My bad for not reading the fine print. Also, their reimbursement schedules may be OK if you live in a low-cost-of-living area, but the reimbursement schedule is ridiculously low for a metropolitan area. There are other companies that cover congential conditions and reimburse a percentage of actual cost. Fine one of them and avoid VPI.
