People are Great -- the Legalese Isn't

Out of 10

I'd recommend Pets Best because the people I've talked to there when I've had questions have been so kind, but this is my first go around with pet insurance and I don't think the terms and conditions were spelled out well enough for me. At first I thought it was a total 80% coverage of any bill, and then I read more and understood it to be that it would be up to $2500 per claim, but now have been told that it's just $2500 for the year for the same diagnosis. I wish I had had the foresight to have switched over to the middle plan when I had the time but I didn't as it was twice as much as the basic level. But maybe it's worth it in the end to have basic for young animals and as soon as they're a certain age, to move them up just so there aren't any bad surprises.

Hi Kate, we're sorry about the confusion you experienced with your per-incident policy. As of 8/12/2013, annual plans are available in all states except MA and WA. Annual plans have terms you may be more familiar with, including one annual deductible and one annual coverage limit of $5,000, $10,000 or $20,000 depending on the level you choose.
There isn't enough information here to contact you directly, so please call us at 877-738-7237 ext. 2 to learn about plan options that may be available to you.
