Out of 10

Long story short is that I had to take my dog to the vet with constant vomiting and sudden onset of lameness. Over a year and a half before, my dog became very lame from the result of exposure to Lyme. He tested negative for the Lyme bacteria but positive for the antibodies. In the first episode, he had a fever, high white blood cell count, and massive swelling in his joints. In the latter episode, other than the lameness, there was NOTHING similar. Even the lab results were completely different. The bottom line is that after jumping through all kinds of hoops and providing endless documentation, THE CLAIM WAS DENIED TWICE!!! This company is itching for a way to deny claims, pure and simple. If I could give a negative number based on their claims and their service, I would.

Always have a medical review done when purchasing pet insurance, that way, you always know what is not covered.
