I purchased a policy for our kitty when he first joined our family four years ago. Turns out he has some bladder issues and has been to the vet for some minor stomach problems. I just hand the piece of paper from VPI to front desk at the vet's office, and they fill it out and file it. It is easy to go online and check the status of your claim. We usually receive a check within two weeks of filing the claim. They don't cover everything, but I knew that going in. It definitely helps take the 'sting' out of some of these vet bills! As long as the price remains affordable and they continue with their good customer service, I will continue to renew my policy.
