Had a very frustrating expiernce with VPI. They had to send forms to the vet 6 times because they kept failing to send the forms, or sent them to the wrong address. This was with me confirming the correct information on file. I was recently denied a claim about 9 months after it was made (we posted the paperwork within 2 weeks of the actual operation, so they literally took 9 months to come back and say denied). We brought our cat in because she had a small scratch on her lip. Turned out it was just playing between the two. They used the fact that there was a scratch on the lip to deny our food allergy claim. I haven't gotten a good reason as to why. Nor am I allowed to talk to anyone actually reviewing the file to understand. I am just told that the adjusters will not talk to customers. Basically slow turn around on paperwork, failure to send the paperwork in the first place. No explaintions of issues, and no recourse for complaint. was not pleasant, and will be looking somewhere else.
