Ok, my husband is a loving caring man...until it comes to insurance. We have Pet Plan on all three of our big dogs. Kassie is our money dog with epilepsy, chronic pancreatitis and much more.
I have a moderate brain injury and paperwork scares and confuses me. So after several years of paying for our insurance (and using it) but not turning any claims in due being overwhelmed, I finally broke down and called PetPlan and confessed what was going on. To my surprise not only did they help me, they also didn't make me feel bad for "hoarding" claims for nearly 4 years before turning them in.
It was a lot of work between my vet, PetPlan and myself but I think I have just turned in my last batch of claims. The money has been rolling in to reimburse us after all this time.
Oh and the husband - he was "just sure" that it would all denied due to the age of the claims and now he is their biggest fan telling everyone how professional and supportive they are.
