Have the Gold Plan, on the caparison charts with other pet insurance they had the consumer believe one way but after the insurance is purchased, it's something else. I had purchased the Gold Plan first before I knew the cat had a issue. Please read the sequence of events.My cat has a cyst with costly testing that showed cancer and it's terminal. They said the cat wasn't covered because it was pre-existing but that wasn't known until he was tested, also because I didn't wait for the waiting period even though the comparison chart showed no waiting which was verified by the Petplan rep. Today, I received an email that my charge card didn't auto pay the monthly fee on this cat but strange enough it paid for my other cat. The email said they will terminate my sick cat insurance, coincidence?? They also said today that the cat isn't qualified for death coverage because he is over 8 years old. Again, I had asked the Petplan rep when I fist purchased the insurance and she said no age limit which was supported by the comparison insurance chart.

you have to read the policy before you buy. All of it is clearly stated on their website. That said I will agree that their customer service is HORRIBLE and the claims take FOREVER to be resolved. Isn't it curious that they never answer any of the complaints on this website? The other insurances do...
