I have the superior plan. The $50 deductible per visit, then the percentage they pay, does not help much for regular visits. But if your pet needs surgery or cancer treatments, it is very comforting to know they will pay about 50% of the total visit. My current dog blew an ACL, then while recovering blew the other ACL (not uncommon for labs and shepherds). Total for 2 surgeries was $6000, they paid $3000. If you think them paying only 50% is not so good, then remember how much your monthly premium is (about $35) and how tough it would be to come up with the extra $3000. No hassles or surprises, they paid exatly what they said they would in the policy. Peace of mind.
