UP until last November, I had a very healthy golden retriever/lab. Routine blood tests last fall showed 2 types of cancer - one required surgery to remove one lobe of her liver and the other was leukimia. Up to this point, she is "healthy" once again - she never knew she was sick. She will have to be on the leukimia meds the rest of her life (she's 10) but that's OK. Without VIP I may not have been able to afford keeping her healthy. VIP has paid 75-80% of the vet bills - oncologist included. This not only saved her life but my finances as well. You can't put a price on a good pets life.
