Best investment an owner can make

While attempting to clean my dog Vinnie's teeth, I noticed a large piece of tooth was missing from his upper molar. I took him to his vet and was told all they could do was pull his tooth; if I wanted to look into a root canal, I would have to see a canine dentist. A root canal for a dog? All I could think of was the cost. After a trip to the canine dentist and a conversation with VPI to go over my options with my major medical plan, I decided that pursuing the root canal was the best option for him. My bill for this procedure was over $1,600.00. I am happy to say that I was only responsible for the $100 deductible; VPI reimbursed me for the rest of the balance. I was also reimbursed within 2-3 weeks. Thank you VPI! Thank you VPI!
