As a pet health-insurance company I give VPI an overall TEN. The services they provide, (which are very detailed and easy to read through their policies) they could not be better. Every single customer service representative that I have talked to over the last year and a half have been extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They are always concerned with my dogs, and they always refer to them by their name, not "how is your dog". The costs of owning pets is not cheap. Having something happen to your pet is stressful enough, so having the peace of mind that if something happens, I will be reimbursed a portion of the vet bill, is worth alot to me. Do I wish that I got a larger portion reimbursed? Of course! But I knew the stipulations when I decided to sign up with VPI. I'm just happy that VPI is available to reimbursement for anything at all. They came highly recommended by a friend, and I have not been disappointed. They are very thorough in their reviews of my claims, and it's obvious that they try to reimburse me for as much as they are able (referring to the careguard for routine type visits). My claims have always been reviewed and reimbursed very fast.
