We couldn't be happier with Healthy Paws. In the fall we adopted Anna, a seven-year-old shih tzu, from a shelter. Because we knew Anna had a history of severe neglect, we opted for a pet health insurance policy right away, just in case problems arose down the road.
A few weeks ago Anna was checked into a vet ER on a Sunday after severe gastrointestinal issues left her so sick she could hardly lift her head. 36 hours (and $1,500) later, Anna was back on her feet. The vet ER submitted all expenses to Healthy Paws. Within a few days we got a friendly, straightforward email from Terah requesting some additional information.
