The first time we used Petplan was to treat my 6 mo old French Bulldog for upper respiratory infection and ear yeast infection. The claim was submitted and within 5 business days a check was in the mail. Recently, my dog's ear yeast infection had returned and again, a new claim was submitted. It is now the 11th day since the claim was processed and the status on the Petplan website states that it is still "in process" and after emailing to inquire, they responded that "your claim is in line to be seen by an adjuster". This is unacceptable for a reoccurring illness. We pay $61/mo for this kind of service? This is something I expect from a C-rated pet insurance company. I will write a follow up once Petplan gets their act together. For now, I rate it a 5 (neutral).
