Excellent -Wirh Claims and Customer Service!

Our Rottweiler, Sicily was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma.I maxed out my credit card on the diagnostic tests and submitted the claims. We needed a quick turn around in order to start Sicily's chemotherapy so I called Pet First to ask if they could speed things up so Sicily could get treatment immediately. EVERYONE I spoke to (especially Dannette) was wonderful!! They even sent the check Federal Express to speed things up. I can't say enough about the wonderful people I spoke to, and the fast payment of our claims.

Petfirst is the WORST!!!

I am not even sure where to start with this company. I am extremely disappointed in the value and service and the many surprises that have come up, when I have sent in a claim. They fight you on almost every issue yet expect you to pay on time. Nickel and dime you to death is the best phrase for them. Dealing with the higher-ups is a waste of time. Bottom line, they want your money and but don't want to treat customers like human beings. I would NEVER recommend them and have canceled my policy.

Pet first covered my dogs broken leg

My Dog Skyler broke his leg and I had him covered under the emergency plan where he has to be lost for them to cover the injury. I never thought I would need to use the insurance but sure enough Skyler broke his leg after escaping the yard and jumping the wallwhich resulted in a completely broken leg. Skyler was then treated with a $3500 bill. I called pet first and sent my documents. At first they denied the claim because they needed more info/proof that skyler was lost. I got them the proof and wallah! They mailed me a $3,000 check (my limit coverage) and paid me no other questions asked. Thank you pet first!!! -Aaron in Arizona

Watch out!

I haven't had to use this yet, but I just noticed that hereditary/congenital conditions are not covered, adn also there is no continuous coverage on chronic conditions. THIS IS A BIG RED FLAG. I'm going to shop for something better.

Great Company! Excellent Customer Service!

I called several places for health insurance for our pets. Almost settled with another company, but then called, Pet First. The person on the phone was incredibly nice, helpful, and informative. I ended up signing up on the spot. I've already used it and got back large portion of the yearly shot fees. No hassle. Check in the mail back to me in a very short time. So far, it's been great.
