This insurance is not reliable

This insurance is not reliable. My dog had surgery and the insurance didn't pay anything. I 'm disappointed.

Premium increased by 61% in one year!

I switched from another provider to Embrace a year ago after we welcomed our second dog. After an uneventful year, we received the renewal quote yesterday and the monthly payment increased by 61%. I called assuming this must have been some sort of mistake and it was explained to me that even though one can expect an increase of around 25% (already huge) the reasons why the policies typically increase are: how long we have had a policy as well as age of the pets since over time the likelihood of needed insurance increases and inflation. We have had the policy for 1 year and no payments made to us as we have young dogs and inflation has been hovering between 4% - 6%, however the policy went from 150$ aprox. to 244$ per month. The only option given was to review the coverage in order for the monthly payment to change. Stay away from this company, I can only imagine how much the premium will increase if I ever file a claim and is paid.

EMBRACE PET INSURANCE GOUGES THEIR CLIENTS NOW.

I have recommended Embrace Pet Insurance because I've been with them since about 2007 happily, but in the last 2 years they keep making massive increases in our premium, but today I received my new premium amount for May - April 2024-25 and they uprated me for ONE MASTIFF an additional $90.47 per month or $1085.64 for the year! I am now going to be paying $259.17 or $3,110.04 for the year IF I stay with them and do not decide to self-insure at this point. This is outrageous! Bastian just turned 7. I cannot believe this and wanted to warn you all against going with Embrace unless you first check out and compare all the A rated companies to see if you can find a better premium. This pretty much ensures we will no longer be able to afford our beloved Mastiffs any more as we go into retirement in a few years. AGAIN - INCREASES IN PREMIUMS THIS HIGH ARE SIMPLE PRICE GOUGING. NOTHING THEY SAY IS THE TRUTH IF THEY RESPOND BECAUSE THERE WAS ZERO REASON FOR THIS LARGE OF AN INCREASE. WHATEVER THEY SAY IS NOT TRUE. UPDATE: Embrace's response on other reviews is BS.....because I was only paying $217 for TWO ENGLISH MASTIFFS or approx $108 per dog in 2021 & NOW THEY RAISED THE PREMIUM THIS YEAR TO $259.17 FOR ONE DOG. I have reported them to the AG's office, NBC Consumer reporting, to every single review I can find and will post this information daily on Social Media & with all the many dog rescue & breeders I am friends with on Facebook. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. My question is WHY? Bastian's vet bills have not gone up significantly - so far as I can see his only "sin" is he is now 7 years old, but PATRON was 9 when I was paying $108 per dog sooooooooo...... I'm 69 - I wonder if it's that simple? Whatever the reason - this smells of gouging for some reason. If I leave Embrace Bastian is uninsurable with any other company for his pre-existing conditions and EMBRACE KNOWS THAT. THE BELOW IS A "CANNED" RESPONSE & NOT ONE SPECIFIC TO ME OR MY COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM. THEY DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO BE SPECIFIC. Very disappointing.
